I spent my life unnoticed, living in my sister’s shadow. But in my family, we’re not ordinary. We’re witches who know monsters are real, and we’re taught one rule: fear the dark. Then a new boy arrived… and the night noticed me. Elias is a vampire who can walk in sunlight because he’s never killed. He’s dangerous, hungry, and determined to stay away from me. I’m still healing from betrayal, still learning my own magic, and still trying to believe I’m worthy of being chosen. But when werewolves start circling our school and something ancient begins hunting in the shadows, loving him becomes more than forbidden. It becomes a risk… I can’t stop taking.

I really wanted to like this one. The witch/vampire forbidden-romance setup sounded great, but the story just drops you in with almost no explanation. I kept feeling like I’d missed the first book or some major backstory. After 24 episodes, I was still trying to figure out who everyone was and what was going on, which made it hard to get invested. Cool idea, but it needed way more world-building and character setup for me.
