The Game Preserve

A group of trophy hunters pays millions for a secret “mystery apex” hunt on a private island—expecting luxury, control, and bragging rights. The contract is simple: surrender your devices, follow the rules, and trust the warden who runs the compound alone. But once they step beyond the fences around the buildings and into the open island, the hunt stops feeling like sport and starts feeling like a test. Nineteen-year-old Eli Mercer never wanted to come, and he’s the only one asking the right question: if this is so exclusive, why does it need so much control? The Game Preserve is a slow-burn thriller about ego, secrecy, and an island designed to keep outsiders quiet.
