When the ruthless young Captain Ragnar fell on the battlefield, so too did the legendary Everlasting Battalion of the Crescent Moon. Their defeat marked the end of an era — or so everyone believed. Seven days later, in the eerie silence of the Forest of Mist, Ragnar’s corpse stirred. From the cold, corpse-strewn earth, he rose once more — eyes burning with a jade glow, a cursed blade in hand, and a hunger that was no longer human. Now undead and forsaken, Ragnar stands at the edge of the town he once swore to protect. Will he unleash his fury upon the living to claim their flesh and strength? Or will he haunt the forest, luring the foolish and the brave to their doom? What will Captain Ragnar become — a monster, or something far more terrifying?
