Trapped in a wardrobe, a toddler survives the end of the world, only to emerge into a nightmare where humanity is a fading memory. Little Holly, sticky with moldy cake and babbling for milk, is a beacon of innocence in a landscape of death. When a hardened survivor, Cole, finds her, his decision to protect this helpless child defies every instinct for survival in a world overrun by the undead. His choice sparks a dangerous rift within his desperate group of teenage scavengers, who see her as a liability, a ticking time bomb of noise and vulnerability. Can a silent, deadly teenager protect a baby in a world that has forgotten compassion, or will her cries lead them all to their doom?
