Torn from her mother's embrace and thrust into a human world of glass tanks and cruel experiments, Nera, a sentient octopus, learns that survival means more than just escaping. For years, she endures the torment of Lucien Vale, a man who sees her as nothing more than a spectacle, forcing her to perform and punishing her for defiance. But beneath her quiet obedience, a burning hatred grows, fueled by every memory of the ocean and the freedom she lost. When a sudden attack shatters her prison, Nera seizes her chance, navigating a labyrinthine facility built for humans, not for her. She plunges into the crushing darkness of the deep, seeking not just escape, but something far more ancient. What secrets lie hidden in the abyss, and what destiny awaits the creature who has learned humanity's darkest lessons?

The story has a very interesting concept, and I’m interested to see how it continues. It’s a good story so far, and I’m looking forward to seeing where it goes.

This story is genuinely interesting not just saying that because it’s fantasy but genuinely has deapth and layers and the deeper the plot goes the more interested I get

Nice story so far. I like how the main character isn’t a human, it’s very different and a little interesting so far.
