Master Chief Vander Kane is a Navy SEAL, but not just any SEAL—he's a vampire, turned five years ago and bound by a unique military protocol. When his team faces threats that are anything but human, Kane reveals his impossible truth to Commander Vance: the enemy is supernatural, and only a new breed of soldier can fight it. He proposes Project NIGHTSTALKER, a black ops unit of turned SEALs, controlled by his Blood Sovereign System and its daylight-granting rings. But as a nuclear warhead convoy comes under attack by rogue blood cells, Vance must decide if turning his elite operators into controlled monsters is the only way to save the world. Can Kane truly command the darkness within his new squad, or will the bloodlust consume them before they even begin to fight?
