Beneath Blackrock

Bolran is a miner. A good one. Maybe too good. When Mithraal production begins to fall across the dwarven kingdom of BlackRock, Bolran is pulled away from a fresh vein and ordered to lead a delving expedition into the Lower Reaches — an abandoned section of the mountain known by every dwarf as the Dust. The mines have been untouched for three centuries. They were abandoned for a reason. What begins as a routine search for new ore soon becomes something far more dangerous when Bolran and his crew uncover passages that should not exist, ancient ruins buried beneath the mountain, and a power older than the Circle of Stone Mages itself. Bolran has no magic. No noble blood. No prophecy waiting for him. He is simply a dwarf who knows how to listen to stone. And deep beneath BlackRock, something has begun to answer.
