Kai Evergreen grew up being called talentless. In a world where magic defines status, he was the kid who awakened late, trained alone, and learned early that effort mattered more than praise. While nobles were groomed for greatness, Kai built himself quietly—through discipline, repetition, and an unbreakable will to survive. When he finally enters Tempest Central Academy, Kai discovers he carries rare Lightning alongside Wind… but with dangerously low output. Labeled unstable and placed in the Standard Track, he’s quickly overlooked in favor of flashier prodigies. But Kai’s power doesn’t explode outward. It compresses. As rival nobles rise, teachers take sides, and classmates struggle under the academy’s brutal system, Kai becomes something unexpected—a steady force others begin to rely on. One by one, forgotten students gather around him. Friendships form. Lines are drawn. And without meaning to, Kai starts building something bigger than himself. While the elite chase glory, Kai learns control. While others fight for rank, Kai protects his people. And as the pressure inside him grows heavier, the world begins to shift. Because sometimes, true power isn’t loud. Sometimes… it carries weight. Listen now on Pocket FM.
