The Starseed

Laura Bennett has always been a background character in her own life, content to observe from the sidelines. But a quiet existence shatters when she inherits a mysterious stone from her late grandmother, a woman who saw more in Laura than anyone else ever did. This isn't just a trinket; it's a burden, a responsibility, a whisper of a destiny Laura never asked for. As the world around her begins to subtly shift, Laura finds herself drawn into a hidden realm, where ancient powers stir and a luminous woman with glowing eyes beckons from a cloud of light. She's always avoided the spotlight, but what if this stone demands she step into a role far grander—and more dangerous—than she could ever imagine? Can a woman who’s always faded into the background truly become the starseed the universe needs?
