Caleb is a brilliant programmer haunted by a single, devastating mistake: the freak accident that took the life of his girlfriend, Maya. He spends his nights buried in code, trying to lose himself in retro games, until he discovers a "Backdoor" in an unreleased 16-bit beta that shouldn't exist. When Caleb executes a hidden Rollback Command, he doesn't just reset the game—he resets his life. He wakes up to find Maya alive and the sun shining. It’s a miracle. It’s perfect. It’s... fake. Caleb begins to notice the "glitches." People repeating identical lines of dialogue. Buildings flickering into gray polygons.
