Harvey is a boy born into hardship. His mother died young. His father remarried a woman whose heart carried something darker than hatred. His stepmother was not just cruel. She was controlled by a hidden occult order that believed a prophecy: “A child of suffering will one day awaken the Mind Flame — and the world of men will no longer belong to men.” That child was Harvey. To prevent the prophecy, she tries to eliminate him and his little sister. But on the night Harvey is dying from poison and exhaustion… His little sister places a strange marble into his palm.
