Blackthrone Academy's most intimidating goth students, Angel and Hayden, face their most dangerous assignment yet: raising a newly hatched dragon. This isn't just any pet project; it's a fire-breathing, furniture-igniting, student-eating menace with an unusually strong attachment to them. As tiny golden eyes fixate on Angel and Hayden, a magical bond begins to form, hinting at a destiny far greater than academic credit. They must teach their new charge boundaries, but how do you tame a creature born of fire and magic when it already sees them as its own? The academy demands success, but with a dragon whose favorite pastime is setting things ablaze, will they survive the semester, or will their new pet turn their world into ashes?
