At its heart, The Velvet Thicket, a lavish brothel, feeds on despair, masking a malevolent, sentient force. Deep beneath its opulent facade, an ancient obsidian altar stirs, fueled by the city's mounting sins, its shadow-tendrils poisoning everything. Traditional faith crumbles, but a prophecy awakens seven innocent souls, among them Father Thomas.
