Before King Paimon ever crosses paths with Asim, he walks the modern world under a different name: "Pastor Solomon Vale", the handsome, charismatic preacher of Mercy Seat Baptist Church. To his congregation, he is gifted, compassionate, wise, and deeply anointed. To the broken, he is comfort. To the guilty, he is counsel. To the desperate, he is a miracle wrapped in a perfect smile. But behind the pulpit stands something ancient. Paimon is not a man of God. He is a king of Hell hiding in plain sight. Each chapter follows Paimon through a self-contained story of sin, power, manipulation, and murder.
