The night Charwe Nyakasikana hears the ancestors calling, the river forgets its flow and a dead bird speaks a chilling warning: “They have found your bones before you have even died.” In a remote village where ancient spirits stir, Charwe is suddenly thrust into a terrifying legacy, one her father desperately tried to hide.
