Most Powerful Nobody

Quan Tomas Exavia has perfected the art of being invisible. At Soulfood Restaurant, he works as a cleaner, dishwasher, trash disposer, and all-purpose handyman. Apparently, Quan is simply a poor, quiet young man with an uncanny ability to notice things others miss and fix problems before they become disasters. When Eva Rolland, the brilliant young CEO of Rockville Group, is about to make a disastrous corporate decision, Quan overhears her conversation and casually offers a solution. She follows his advice and turns a potential loss into a spectacular business victory. Intrigued, Eva returns to find him. She discovers that the restaurant staff call him “Quantum” because of the strange way his mind works—and “Handyman” because there is almost nothing he cannot fix. Their occasional conversations gradually become an unusual acquaintance. Then Eva’s carefully controlled life begins to unravel. Her powerful family has arranged her marriage to Gideon Brooks, the arrogant heir of another influential family. The marriage would strengthen both empires, but Eva despises him and feels trapped by an agreement she never wanted. When Gideon discovers Eva has been spending time with an insignificant restaurant worker, he storms in intending to humiliate them both. Instead, Eva makes a desperate decision. She declares Quan her boyfriend. Then she announces they intend to marry. What begins as an impulsive lie soon becomes something neither anticipated. As Quan enters Eva’s dangerous world of wealth, corporate rivalry, family politics, and criminal power, his extraordinary abilities become increasingly difficult to explain. Because Quan Tomas Exavia is not who everyone thinks he is. There is a reason he disappeared. There is a reason he wants nothing. And when his secret finally emerges, the world will discover that the man everyone overlooked may be the Most Powerful Nobody alive.
