All Arek the orc wants is to hang up his weapons for good and cook. He's seen more than his share of battle, and these days a full stomach and a quiet kitchen sound far better than glory. But when Ming and her band of adventurers hire him as their full-time traveling chef, his dream of a peaceful life keeps colliding with monsters, mayhem, and the occasional life-or-death dinner service. Between rare ingredients that fight back and recipes that level up as fast as any warrior, Arek discovers the kitchen can be every bit as fierce as the battlefield. Warm, funny, and mouth-wateringly inventive, this is a cozy slice-of-life LitRPG for fans of comfort fantasy and Food Wars — where the real magic happens over an open flame.
