One second Landon Kane is walking to work. The next, he's standing in a fog- choked graveyard with a game-like interface hovering in front of his face and zombies screaming for his blood. Most survivors get a dagger and a prayer. Landon gets the Hundred Times Reward — a talent that turns every drop, every recruit, and every scrap of loot into a hundred. While the rest of the world fights over stale bread, Landon is building an army: loyal native workers, a cat-eared chef who'd die for him, a blacksmith forging weapons of a tier no one his level should have, and a razor-tongued elemental ranger who'll kill him herself if he steps out of line. But power comes with a price. To grow strong enough to save his scattered family, Landon has to do what the System really wants: conquer the graveyards of the people around him — before someone conquers his first.
