Joe Rapid of Riverborn

Joe Rapid began his life deeply weary of stepping out, taking risks or asserting himself in the tough society on the river. He was the smallest and certain that his size relegated him to the lowest strata of his age group. He would retreat under the river city to the surface of the running river beneath to escape this reality, but in doing so he first met the hippo like creature he would start to call Angles. Angles was the smallest male in the herd yet had taken the place of the alpha. Watching Angles battle challengers twice his side and prevail, Joe rethinks his potential and starts to train as a Riverborn Paladin and is quickly pitted against an opponent double his size, just like Angles.
