Awakening This story takes place in the Marvel Universe and follows Jalen Cross, a regular teenager from Brooklyn who suddenly develops a strange superpower: he can absorb the force of any hit he takes and then unleash it back even stronger. But his power isn’t normal. It’s part of a secret system called the Fracture Protocol, a mysterious program originally created by Tony Stark to monitor superpowers. Somehow, this system got corrupted and started changing people randomly, giving them unstable, unpredictable powers.
