Echoes of Sorcery

After moving to Texas, Joseph's thrown into a world of supernaturals and magic in which he's forced to learn spells to save himself from dying from the 'Witches Fever' that inflicts a witch if they refrain from magic for more than nineteen years. To make certain he commits to the craft, his Aunt freezes his adoptive father in time as an incentive and sends him to Demonix (a school for supernaturals). While in Demonix, he meets nerdy Theodora, who offers to help him achieve his goal, and they strike a deal that'll benefit them both and agree to help each other ascertain the highest level of witchery.
