Lena's Hollow Room

Lena Gray is 29 years old, a former museum archivist from Chicago who recently lost her job due to budget cuts. Quiet, introspective, and somewhat skeptical by nature, Lena spent most of her life feeling disconnected—from people, from her family, and from her past. She doesn’t believe in the supernatural, but she’s fascinated by time, antiquity, and things that don't quite fit. When she inherits her great-uncle Theodore’s countryside estate (a man she never met and barely heard about), she sees it as a chance to reset her life. She’s also curious—Theodore was known in the family as “the broken clock,” a man obsessed with time, isolation, and silence. Something in her wants to understand that. Lena’s personality is shaped by her loneliness and curiosity. She doesn’t scare easily, but she overthinks. Her skepticism becomes a vulnerability—she needs proof before she acts, which can be dangerous in a house where time doesn’t behave the way it should.
