Crimson Vestige

A vampire, centuries old, realizes that the human species is slipping beyond their reach. Technology, genetic enhancements, and natural evolution have made modern humans increasingly immune to the vampire curse and resistant to feeding. Disease resistance, nanomedicine, and genetic manipulation all mean the “old food source” is vanishing. The vampire, desperate to preserve their own existence, begins a quest to find—or manufacture—the last untouched “pure” human bloodline before it disappears forever.
