This is the opening passage of a story revolving around Vihaan Aryan, an eighteen-year-old student living in the quiet, ordinary town of Shivpur City, Central India. Vihaan appears to lead a normal life, but his lean physique and focused demeanor hint at something extraordinary. The narrative begins with Vihaan sitting in his room, lost in thought. His 7:00 AM alarm ('Aaram Mode') goes off, and the moment he shuts it and closes his eyes, he is violently pulled into a terrifying dream or memory. He finds himself on a scorched battlefield, surrounded by 300 figures in black clothes. These figures chant menacingly in unison: “BLOODY DYNASTY!” The dangerous call and rhythmic chant terrify Vihaan, and an old birthmark on his neck begins to burn hot and glow red. At that exact moment, his mother's familiar, everyday voice snaps him out of the vision. Vihaan wakes up, drenched in sweat, relieved to be back in the calm and ordinary setting of Shivpur. However, his body and the birthmark are still registering the invisible pull of a place thousands of miles away called Aandheragarh, the "Dark Zone," the land of the Dynasty—a place of blood and power with which Vihaan seems to share a deep, mysterious connection.
