Attack on Titan: Shadow of Shiganshina tells the hidden story of Kael Reinhardt, a boy whose life changes forever the day the Colossal Titan appears above Wall Maria. Growing up in the peaceful district of Shiganshina, Kael’s biggest dreams were simple—until the Armored Titan tears through the inner gate and destroys everything he knows. Forced into a desperate evacuation, Kael survives with nothing but a scorched memory, a blood-stained scarf, and a rage he doesn’t yet understand. Seeking strength—and answers—Kael joins the 104th Cadet Corps alongside Eren, Mikasa, Armin, and a girl named Christa, whose gentle presence awakens strange déjà vu within him.
