Life turned upside down for 16-year old Lali who was married off to 50- year man named Nand Rai. Never in her dreams had Lali imagined that she will get married to someone older than her father. Nand Rai's son Naren entered Lali's life like a knight in shining armour. Although, Naren was always there for Lali she felt trapped in that marriage. Her ray of hope, Naren soon was sent back to the hostel which added to Lali's woes. Unable to handle it anymore, Lali decided to run away from everything hoping that she will start a new life with Naren in the city. What happened next left her in shock. When she reached the hostel Naren was currently accommodated at, she find out that no one named Naren stays there. Lali felt as if the world had turned upside down for her.
