After the war between Heaven and Hell, the earth was left in ruins and few survived. Once Hell was opened, there were creatures unleashed and demons on the prowl. Ryena and her camp, led by her grandfather, live in the aftermath. After meeting a mysterious man in the woods, her camp was attacked by a flying mythical being and when one of their own was taken she goes to hunt it down with the mysterious man by her side to make everything more complicated. Oakley wasn’t his name, not when God created him. But when he saw her he knew not to call himself out. Would they accept him after he was thrown out of heaven or turn him away to continue fighting literal demons on his own? In this fantasy series we see Ryena and Oakley question everything about themselves and others. But the big question is will they make it to the mysterious safe haven made known along their journey? Amberlane, is it a myth or a place of refuge for those who have suffered enough?
