A down-on-his-luck gamer gets yanked out of his ordinary life and dropped into a world that runs entirely on game logic — badges to earn, classes to unlock, and a tangle of races and factions that would rather see him fail than help him level. With nothing but his wits, a gamer's instincts, and a mouth that keeps writing checks his character can't cash, he sets out to carve a place for himself in a system designed to grind newcomers to dust. Friends are rare, enemies are plentiful, and every badge earned makes him a bigger target. A wisecracking, fast-leveling GameLit adventure about clawing your way up when absolutely everything is stacked against you.
