Captain Andy Taylor of the Monty Police Department wiped a bead of sweat from his brow, his gaze sweeping across the bustling, chaotic port. Everon wasn't Mayberry. Far from it. This island, a jewel of the Caribbean in appearance only, was a haven for smugglers, drug runners, and worse. Andy, a man more accustomed to mediating disputes over barking dogs than investigating homicides, had been sent to Everon on a special assignment – a joint task force to clean up the rampant crime. Monty, a small, quiet town on a neighboring island, had been increasingly affected by the spillover. His first case landed with a thud – literally. A body, washed up on the rocky shore just outside the port, a single gunshot wound marring the otherwise peaceful scene. The victim, a local fisherman named Elias, was known to have been vocal about the drug trafficking plaguing the island. What will follow Andy on this island?
