In the clockwork realm of Aethelgard, destiny is etched in magical ink at birth. Kaelen Voss is a Prophecy Eraser in the industrial Ash District, hiding a forbidden "Black Sun" mark that identifies him as the door to a nightmare realm. Seraphina Thorne is a warrior-priestess whose prophecy promised she would lead the realm to light. When the Great Clock stops and the Blood Moon rises, their fates collide.
