Eli thought exploring a creepy, fog-choked Hollow to find his missing friend Kara was dangerous — but nothing could prepare him for the ancient, eye-piercing secrets lurking beneath the earth. He certainly did not think he would get tangled in an ancient spiral cult buried beneath the Ironspire Sect. As Kara's disappearance hits him hard, he dives headfirst into a mist-choked nightmare of glyphs, Hollowed Ones, and watchers that see too much. He barely escapes with Kara, only to find that something old, hungry, and eye-shaped has already marked him. Now visions won’t let him sleep, masked beings are crawling out of stone, and friendly senior disciple Damon? Yeah—he winds up dead with his eyes carved out. A fragment of obsidian pulses in Eli’s hand. The elders are circling. The Spiral is spreading. Can Eli outpace the gaze of ancient watchers? Or is he already spiraling too deep to claw his way out?
