The System warns of possible civilian danger, and James rushes forward. He discovers a village under attack by bandits. Homes burn, villagers scream, and children are threatened. Without hesitation, James intervenes—his sword flashing as he cuts down the raiders with precision and speed. The fight culminates with a duel against the bandit chief, a massive warrior wielding a giant axe. Through discipline and the training he endured from the System, James overcomes him, piercing his chest with a lightning-charged thrust. The remaining bandits flee in terror. In the aftermath, James helps the villagers by rescuing survivors, putting out fires, and tending to the wounded.
