Marc Beckett is just like any other 23-year-old college studentfocused on finishing his last year, juggling classes, and dreaming of the future. But everything changes one ordinary morning. On his way to school, Marc encounters an elderly woman who seems to be a beggar, asking for money to buy food. With nothing more than his daily allowance of twenty dollars in his pocket, Marc still chooses to give it all to her. Overjoyed, the woman thanks him and promises a gift, gently touching his forehead before vanishing into thin air. Confused but unable to dwell on it, Marc continues his dayuntil an unusual incident with a neighbor unsettles him further.
