Ajay is a reserved college student lost in his own world whose best friend is Ravi. One day in college he meets Shanta, a fresher student, under strange circumstances and saves her from ragging. Shanta is a submissive girl from an extremely orthodox political family who has got permission to study in college with great difficulty with the warning that if she does anything that the family doesn't like, she will have to leave her studies and get married off. Despite this warning, she falls in love with Ajay, and gradually, Ajay also falls in love with her. Despite all the restrictions, their love blossoms and one day suddenly Shanta leaves the college without informing Ajay. Ajay becomes like a madman and Ravi tries to convince him that Shanta was disloyal and he should forget her but Ajay is not ready to accept Shanta as disloyal and he is sure that his Shanta will definitely come back one day.
