Many years ago, near the village of Devgarh, a temple maiden of divine beauty was cursed by a sage. The curse transformed her into a Yakshini—her beauty no longer a blessing, but a deadly trap. As night fell, she would appear in the abandoned mansion, luring men of the village with her enchanting charm. But by dawn, only their lifeless bodies remained. Over time, the people of Devgarh began calling her the “Sthapit Yakshini”, for she was bound eternally between the temple and the haunted mansion, unable to free herself from the curse.
