Twelve-year-old Kai doesn't care about legends or glory. All he wants is to keep his little sister Mira warm through the brutal winter. When he sneaks up the forbidden mountain in search of firewood, he never expects the ground to crumble beneath his feet—or to tumble straight into the dragon's ancient lair.
