In 1820s London, Victor Bennett, a hardened ex-military veteran, has his world brutally shattered when four of the Thirteen Princes of Hell massacre his entire family. Left for dead, Victor is divinely blessed with superhuman durability and heightened senses, including a "Malice Echo" that warns him of unseen evil. Rescued and rigorously trained by Arthur, a rogue Regional Exorcist who distrusts the corrupt Vatican's Order, Victor becomes a relentless, vengeful hunter.
