Fumetsu was a ninth-circle mage on the edge of greatness, until betrayal shattered everything. His closest friend murdered his wife and defected to a rival faction, driving Fumetsu into a rage so deep that he turned to forbidden black magic. He destroyed his enemies, but the cost was his life and his soul. Fate intervened. Kami, a higher being, recovered Fumetsu’s damaged soul and granted him one wish: to meet his beloved wife again. Fumetsu woke in the body of another fifteen-year-old boy with the same name, a failed summoner with an extraordinary constitution that can channel both mana and chii. When a message appears declaring 'requirement met' and welcoming him to a mysterious system, Fumetsu realizes his new life holds power beyond anything he knew. Will this second chance help Fumetsu rise even higher than before, or will the path to his beloved tear him apart once again? To know more, listen to 'When Fumetsu Ascends' only on Pocket FM!
