But these powers didn’t come from nowhere. They’re tied to an ancient presence older than the city, older than humanity, and it wants something from him. As he begins hunting the criminals who prey on the innocent, he finds himself pulled into a war operating beneath the surface — a war between those who use darkness and those who would consume it entirely.
