“Do not move an inch closer to me, Valen,” I said firmly, but my heart stated otherwise. It was beating hard against my chest. Valen smirked and moved closer, ignoring my words breaching the little distance before us. I stumbled, but the walls were there to keep me steady. “And what will you do young lady,” Valen taunted in a low menacing tone which made me so aggravated. I hate the way every part of him always affects me. But I dare not let him see an ounce of how I feel, because I know he would use it against me. “You are crossing your boundaries, Alpha and you won't like it when my Alpha hears of it,” I threatened, glaring at him. A gasp elicited from my lips when I felt his hands on my waist, “W-wwhat are you doing?” I stuttered, unable to stop myself from squirm against his touch. “Breaching the contract more so I'll know what your Alpha would do to me. I warned you, Astrid, I told you not to step your foot into my pack again and now you've gone against my order, I swear your stay here, even under the protection of your so-called Alpha won't be able to save you,” He whispered in ears. ~~~ Astrid was rejected and exiled from the pack by her mate, Valen Astor, Alpha of Shadowmoon pack because of a conspiracy. Heartbroken and angry, Astrid returns to the Shadowmoon pack to save her son, clear her name and also have her revenge on those who had wronged her, especially on the mate who was supposed to trust her.
