At its core, this is a dark, supernatural epic about the tragic cost of getting exactly what you wished for. The story follows Sindri Klás, a Viking chieftain who, in a moment of desperate vengeance against a rival named Björn, strikes a bargain with the Trickster God, Loki. In exchange for his soul, Sindri is granted immortality and the power to command a legion of Imps - grotesque, shadow-dwelling creatures that act as his supernatural army. As Sindri leads his warband on a relentless global conquest from the frozen North to the sun-drenched Mediterranean, the narrative focuses on three major conflicts: • The Physical Toll: The magic Sindri uses, called Mana, is a corrupting force. It begins to physically mutate his human friends, turning them into "Sinter-Kin" - living statues of stone and scale who are losing their humanity with every victory. • The Spiritual Price: Because Sindri can no longer die, he realizes he is the only Viking denied Valhalla. He must watch his loved ones die and ascend to a glory he can never share, leaving him to wander the earth alone for eternity. • The Cosmic Game: Sindri eventually realizes he is a pawn in a larger game. His "conquest" is actually a way for Loki to thin the veil between worlds, and Sindri must decide if he will remain a monster or find a way to redeem a soul that is technically no longer his. It is a story of blood, brotherhood, and the long, lonely road of a man who conquered the world only to find he had nowhere left to go.
