When James and Michelle opened their eyes, they were no longer home — no longer anywhere recognizable. Kidnapped by the shadowy TEC-01 Corporation and thrust into a cruel experiment, the married couple awakens in a labyrinth of tunnels, machines, and horrors far beneath the earth. Tested, hunted, and taunted by an unseen voice, they’re forced to fight their way through nightmarish creatures called Puppets — human shells reprogrammed to kill — and deeper into an anomaly that cannot be controlled. Together, they climb through The Maw, a living, ancient machine at the heart of the island, where reality itself seems to fray. Whispering walls, shifting runes, and a pulsing beacon promise “truth” at the cost of their humanity. But when they reach the surface at last, they discover the true trial has only begun. The island is alive. Above ground lies a wilderness scarred by the same anomaly below: forests that twist and bend, rivers that boil and glow, and the ever-present hum of the beacon watching from afar. Here, James and Michelle must scavenge, hunt, and fight not only the mutated Puppets but also desperate human survivors — each trapped in their own battle to endure the unforgiving game.
