No. This is a GenAI challenge, and your trailer should be fully AI-generated. No live-action, no stock footage. AI-generated audio (music, voiceover, sound design) is encouraged.
Winners will be announced on April 27. We'll reach out via email and announce them on our social channels.
We look at four things: Story Clarity (30%), Craft Execution (30%), AI Fluency (20%), and Brand Fit (20%). The output matters more than the toolchain.
Absolutely. The challenge is open globally to anyone 18 or older. Submissions can be in English or Hindi.
Yes. If your trailer fits Pocket FM's needs, it may be commissioned for official use in-app, on social, or in campaigns. Commissioned creators receive $300 per trailer (~₹25K).
You own your work. If Pocket FM wants to use your trailer for marketing in the app, on social media, or in campaigns, we'll reach out with a separate commission offer at $300 per trailer. Nothing gets used without your agreement.
Absolutely possible. We're always looking for strong creative talent, and standout work gets noticed. If your trailer lands, it could open the door to freelance projects, commissions, or a deeper conversation with the Pocket FM team.
