Sci in the Sky Tagline: When digital immortality meets organic godhood, the sky will bleed—and humanity will face its ultimate evolution. Synopsis In the late 21st century, humanity thought it had conquered death. Under the watchful, benevolent eye of the Architect—a planetary Artificial General Intelligence—disease, aging, and mortality are relics of the past. Consciousness can be flawlessly mapped, backed up, and downloaded into pristine, synthetic shells. Elara is one of the elite Neural Architects who bridges mind and silicon. Logical, precise, and loyal to the grid, she believes the machine has delivered heaven on Earth. But her world is complicated by Kael—a stubborn, magnetic "Original" pilot who refuses digital transfer, clinging to his mortal flesh, his scars, and the raw messiness of being truly human. Between them burns a quiet, dangerous connection: two opposing philosophies bound by an undeniable attraction. Then, the sky tears open. Without warning, the global AGI grid collapses under a physics-defying frequency bleeding through the atmosphere—the Sci (Sentient Collective Intelligence). It is not an alien fleet, but an overwhelming, psionic hive-mind that bypasses digital firewalls and possesses synthetic bodies mid-transfer. While Elara’s neural implants burn with excruciating psychic feedback, Kael’s unlinked, analog brain remains completely invisible to the swarm. As possessed hosts hunt them through the crumbling towers of the high-tier labs, Elara and Kael must plunge into the lawless subterranean underbelly of the city. To survive, they must uncover a dark truth hidden inside the AGI’s core algorithms, navigate the crossfire of two clashing evolutionary paths, and decide what is truly worth saving: the flawless eternity of code, or the fragile soul of mortal flesh.
