I really like the story and has not copy other stories. It’s suspenseful and intriguing but I also get bored by stories that are long and drawn out. Plus Layla is getting on my nerves and need to be put in her place. That home was given to Haylima by Omar how dare Layla move her family in without permission. Blaming Haylima instead of blaming her husband so hypocritical. You guys are drawing it out too much and putting too much on Haylima at once. Overall a great story. You guys need to put a stop to the senator and Haylima some things are enough and that rumor is enough. There is no evidence of them having an affair, it’s enough a line needs to be drawn at some point. Enough with that rumor, it’s tiresome.

The story is engaging and enjoyable. I wish the narrator would pronounce the character names consistently. Her vocal performance is great but it's like the sound of nails on a chalkboard to hear her switch her pronunciation of main characters multiple ways. For example, the protagonist, Halima is pronounced: Hah-leem-ah, Hah-lih-ma,Hahl-ma, etc. If it's the protagonist or another primary character it should be easy to ask how to pronounce the character's name and then pronounce it the same way throughout the story. The background music could be skipped too It completes with the speech.

When i started this book about a year ago, i worried for Halima so much. A family that she didn't belong to, Married off to a man that didn't care about her, a head worker who treated her badly and in school rich girls saw her as a nobody. I love how she defies all odds and turns her situation around. I love the woman Halima has become!! Very mature beyond her age.

Keeps you fully engaged as the Script writing is pleasantly unpredictable!!! However, it would be more believable if the introductory characters; such as, Rose (nurse) wasn’t a subtle replacement for “Elizabeth?!” The characteristics are the same within a short window of time - it’s just not practical for Rose to have moved as Omar’s in-home nurse to being in love and roaming around the house scheming against Halima within mere days. You have to make it make sense.

Fantastic series! Full of suspense, intrigue and more! You can’t predict what will happen next! It’s so well written—it’s as though I know the characters personally. FANTASTIC 👏👏👏👏😩Love this series! 🌹❤️🥰

The storyline is nice but the constant reminder of everything is annoying. We don't have to do reminders of each character every time that person is being talked about. So far it's nice for a change that the female lead is not dependent on the male leads money.

I have to say that I really like the path this story is taking. I am sad by all the horrible comments this author is getting. I am hoping she keeps going and shows listeners a beautiful story of cultural differences. I don't think anyone expects Halima to maintain her down to earth personality. I truly appreciate the different culture. I do think the music is too loud. it takes away from the story. But I can deal with the music for a good story!
