When the lights flicker in a Johannesburg apartment and ancestral drums begin to beat inside her chest, a heartbroken woman discovers that grief is not the only thing awakening within her. Marked by an ancient symbol burned into her skin, she learns that the dreams she was taught to ignore are calling her to a forgotten power. Across the city, a disciplined guardian bound to the ancestors feels her awakening and knows the balance has shifted. Spirits stir, bloodlines rise, and a choice forms that could save her or destroy her. Bound by fate, fear, and forbidden love, two lives move toward a collision that the ancestors have already judged. Will finding her mean salvation, or will love be the final sacrifice that seals her death? To know more, listen to 'Marked by the Ancestors' only on Pocket FM!
