In the chilly world of the NHL, two rivals are about to get a whole lot closer than they ever planned. Damien "Ice King" Reyes is the Chicago Storm's tough-as-nails captain. He's got a reputation for being grumpy and closed off, thanks to a hockey career that taught him not to trust anyone. Then there's Ayomide "Fire" Adeyemi, the fiery rookie from Nigeria whose speed and smile light up the ice—and definitely get under Damien's skin. After a massive fight in the locker room goes viral, the team owner lays down the law: live together, pretend to be friends, and sell the world a story of redemption. Or, say goodbye to their careers. One apartment. One bathroom. No privacy whatsoever. What starts as total ice-cold hate slowly thaws into secret looks, late-night talks, and touches that feel way too good. But in a world where everyone's watching and rumors can ruin you, one wrong move could cost them everything—their contracts, their legacies, and the fragile connection growing between them. Enemies on the ice. Something dangerous off it. Can they fake it long enough to save the team... or will the truth burn them both? Get ready for a slow-burn hockey romance packed with tension, rivalry, cultural pride, and a love that might be worth risking it all. If you love forced proximity, enemies-to-lovers stories, and sports romances with a heart, this one's for you. Ready to dive in? The ice is calling!
