I don't rate books that easy but this is a must! The growth, maturity, trust, and love between Asha and Priscilla is beautiful! Nice work! However, thd book is not complete!

The narrators voice is nice—some of the voice changes of some characters are silly: best to stick with the narrator voice. Story is plausible, characters are more believable than other stories. A few inconsistencies with some characters, like Katherine and Chelsea’s roles seemed mixed up in a few places.

The translation of this story to English is great; only one or two slip ups so far. The plot is excellent and very engaging. The narration is very good. Superb writing; the author's use of imagery and symbolism is fantastic and enviable. I hope the story never ends, although I am looking forward to when the nasty people finally get their dues.

It was good to see how the main female character went from a quiet meek person to after losing her baby to a person who is not taking no more shit from anyone. She has a voice, and a man who stands with her and she with him. Finally a story where 2 people or a couple actually communicates and takes outs or confronts family or the enemy together. Hooray for Priscilla and Asher !! I’m ready to see how they handle the Brown ‘s and other families together.
