I've been reading the book version and I'm obsessed. I love the way Claire protects and defends Charlie. And the way Charlie loves Claire. Even if she gets frustrated with him sometimes. I absolutely love Charlie and Claire. I started listening to the audio version. The narrator is spot on. But why did you guys change Jasmines name? That's really unnecessary.

I was hooked waiting for Clair to find out about Charlie’s background. Thought it would happen at their anniversary, but I’m still waiting. The writing itself is a bit over the top with fights, excessive praise, and constant references to the dollar value of items being rather repetitive. Also, the early chapters, introduced each new character with the same formula, arrogance then humbled. Though this continues, it’s good to get some additional story now that several of the players are involved. The way Charlie is written is a real positive. I can understand the reasoning for many of his emotions, actions, and decisions. These same choice point to flaws in Charlie’s character that keep him grounded and feeling real even in the midst of the most ridiculous situations.. His devotion to, and love for, his wife remains a constant highlight of his character. My biggest suspension of disbelief comes from the rapidly growing number of people whom know Charlie’s secret while Clair remains oblivious. However, the hook that keeps me listening, is the same hook that got me in the first place; how will Clair respond when she finds out about Charlie? So I don’t fault the author for not answering that question sooner. 👍

I been waiting on this story to show on this platform it’s under a different name under a different app I use. The voice on there though is so robotic and they blank out so many words. So excited to see where this goes on here. Charlie never backs down after being treated so bad.

Story ended with so many loose ends… Claire still didn’t know Charlie’s identity. Who killed Charlie’s parents? What happened to Warnia, Skyler, Adelyn, Clara, and other girls madly in love with him?

"Heir On Hiding" by Lilah Larson is a thrilling romance with Charlie Wade at the helm 😍! Charlie's a feisty, whip-smart heroine who's got secrets and isn't afraid to break rules 🚀. Posing as a house kept Husband slave in a grand English manor, Charlie clashes with the dashing (and mysterious) aristocrat 🔥. Larson's writing is witty, swoon-worthy, and full of tension 💥. The plot twists will keep you guessing, and Charlie's sass 💁️ will have you cheering. If you love historical romance with adventure and a dash of mystery, this one's a hit 📚💖. 🎧 Short Review: Heir in Hiding "Pure satisfying drama at its best! 🤫 Charlie Wade turns 'underestimated son-in-law' into the ultimate power move—no shouting, no boasting, just quiet, brilliant payback. Watching him flip every insult back with calm, perfect control is absolutely addictive! A must-listen for anyone who loves a true hidden-gem story." ♥️🥰

I have enjoyed this story on another app and wish they had just kept the names the same for some of the characters. and just given this book the same name as in the other app.

I’ve been listening to this series for a while and I think the overall series keeps me interested one dynamic I find perhaps unrealistic is the devotion to Claire. Charlie has without the internal struggle. I feel like this is written by a young woman, possibly a virgin who does not have much insight to the mind and emotions of a man. I’m not seeing that Charlie wouldn’t have a sense of duty or obligation to be faithful to his wife, but after years of no intimacy or affection, I think there would be a much stronger battle in resisting that intimacy from another woman, especially with how many women are trying to throw themselves at him and him being OK with Claire, denying him that affection and love makes him look weak in real life. I think he would be more along the levels of a demand for affection, even if not sexual on the premise that she is his wife. I don’t think any man would allow his wife to leave him sleeping on the floor and not in the same bed after that many years.

I like listening to this series a lot, I get a little frustrated when I have to wait for some more chapter is there any chance of getting more chapters quicker?
