The time line is completely messed up and arbitrarily set. People seem to have no depth of character and act completely different from chapter to chapter.

this story is a MUST READ!! I am very impressed by the story plot , the idea and its very entertaining! the voice of the reader is great.. the sound effects are on point, not too overwhelming or distracting.. I am very invested in tgis story and I am very excited to keep listening.. this story is as fun and as interesting as the shadow slave story..

So yeah I loved the book. The characters, game play and described world was amazing. I highly recommend it. As with many books here it did kinda have a sudden ending as there were a lot of plans n quest lines not finished but it was a satisfactory ending definitely. A second book would be great to find out what happens next but isn't necessary to be happy with it overall. Too many here end badly in a sudden rush or a promised season 2 that never seams to happen so I'm glad they did it well here.

story plot is awesome the voiceover does great work and expressing different characters for the most part but overall I would give this a six star if I could highly recommend this series for me I like to listen to all everyday and then sometimes go back listening to it again it's right in a row and catch certain things you didn't catch before this is probably the second time listening to the series and it still gets you into it great story

The story frame is well built. It is at the level that one wants to reread the first chapters after finishing the story. The amount of battles description is a bit excessive to my taste, but I guess it is part of the genere. The interactions between characters is well built. story is consistent, good background, advancing well over the chapters. I will check what else done by author.

A impressive story for sure, but a lot towards the end seems to get a little cut and paste from earlier moments and the story really hurry itself at the end. While the story has an end it leaves a lot of unanswered things on the table and with the way it ended it feels doubtful, even though it mentions a second "book" that one can actually be made without having some serious issues. This is still a solid listening and there is no discrediting that it was a good listen.

Really well done. I’ve listened to several stories here and I’m in the middle of others. This one is the best. The main characters are well developed. The side characters and villains keep it interesting. The game context is fun. The MMC is someone I really like. He’s a leader like you want a leader to be. A friend like you’d like a friend to be. But mostly - the writing is superior. I can get a real feel for locations and actions. I love the friendships being created. Like found family. I look forward to finishing this story soon.

Not many stories capture my attention, this one did it in spades. As I greedily listened and my bank account fell I enjoyed the series. Worth it, perhaps. Do it again, you betcha!
